House of the Unholy is a one-of-a-kind, visionary short film which has won over 65 film festival awards around the world from the end of 2022.The film was created by Los Angeles/Tokyo based creative director, polymath and all-around renaissance man Daniel Merlot .

The film is a genre bending mix of Sci-Fi, fantasy, live action interweaved with sequences of anime.

It was filmed in the jungles of  Thailand  with creative partners Oso Jackson and Michael Laburt.

Drawing influence from Jodorowsky, Tarantino, Kubrick, Japanese Anime, and Hong Kong Horror, House Of The Unholy is a surreal cinematic experience that is both hauntingly beautiful and chillingly bizarre.

 

The film is a prologue introduction to a planned upcoming full length feature.
